While there are several reason why an account may have been suspended, the most common one is that there is a question regarding the source of a submitted article. All EzineArticles.com submissions must be either original works written by you or an article to which you have an exclusive right to - meaning that only your name may be associated with it. If you submitted an article that you purchased as part of a pack received from a distributor/affiliate site, chances are so have others -- so you do not have an exclusive right to it.
EzineArticles.com does not accept Private Label Rights (PLR) Articles in any form, even if you highly-modified them, so please do not submit them. If you have submitted any PLR articles, please remove them from your account.
How do I get my suspended account reinstated?
The most common reason an account is suspended is because of an article that is not original or to which you do not have an exclusive right to. If this is the case, please login to your account and remove the article, and any others that are of like nature, and then email us letting us know that you have removed the article or articles. At that point we will review your account for possible reinstatement with 24-48 hours, but there is no guarantee that your account will be reinstated.
If you account has been suspended for another reason, please return to the contact form to contact us in regards to your account.
How long does it take to have an article approved?
Basic & Basic Plus Membership Level submissions are generally reviewed within 2-14 business days of submission, depending on incoming volume of submissions.
Platinum Membership Level submissions are generally reviewed within 6-36 hours of submission Monday thru Friday depending on incoming volume of submissions.
If your article has not been reviewed reviewed after the time frame that co-incides with your membership level, feel free to contact us.
How do I edit an article after submission?
To edit an existing article, log in to your account and then navigate to where the article is based on its status using the links to the left. Once in the correct area, choose the article to edit and then click on the 'Edit' button below the article listing.
Note: If you are editing an article that has already been approved and is live, the article will go into our 'Re-Approval Queue' and will not be publicly viewable until it has been re-approved. Re-approvals normally take 2-36 hours to be reviewed...and again, Platinum members get first attention and then Basic-level members.
I am an Expert Author but I still only have XX submissions?
Expert Status has no bearing on the number of articles a member can submit. The number of articles you are allowed to submit is based on your Membership level (Basic, Basic-Plus or Platinum Unlimited)
I am trying to submit an article that has several graphs/images/pictures, how do I do that?
Sorry, we do not allow or accept images of any type in any articles at this time. If you want to visually show something in an article, we recommend you include a link to the picture which would be on your website with some text along the lines of "To view this graph/picture/image, click here."
If you go this route though just make sure to not go over the limit of three active self-serving links in your article.
I need to submit articles for my boss/client/partner, how should I do that?
First, you must have the permission of the author before you submit the articles. The best way to accomplish submitting articles for your boss or client is to create an Alternate Author Name for them within your EzineArticles.com account. To do this, login into your account and then choose the 'Add Alternate Author' option from the left navigation links. Assuming the Alternate Author Name you chose is not already in use, you will have the option to choose them as an author the next time you submit an article from a drop down menu at the top of the article submission form.
I found one of my articles reprinted without proper credit or links, what do I do?
The first course of action we recommend is that you contact the owner/webmaster of the site and ask them to fix the oversight. In most cases, this will accomplish the end result you are looking for as most people just need to be informed of the Publisher Reprint Rules.
If after you contact them and no action has been taken within 48 hours, contact the site's ISP/WebHost and ask them to enforce their AUP (Acceptable Use Policy).
Please Contact Us if your question is not answered above.
