Section 8: Publisher Questions

How do I know if my article was published elsewhere?
The "Articles Published" statistic in your account shows how many times people have clicked on the "EzinePublisher" button on your article. It doesn"t guarantee that they published your article, but it does indicate that they had interest in publishing your article.
There is no tracking provided for who and when your articles are republished. Consider using Google Alerts to help identify this for you. This tool can assist you in finding out who is republishing your article! http://Google.com/alerts/

What if I am not getting publisher credit?
The first course of action we recommend is that you contact the owner/webmaster of the site and ask them to fix the oversight. This will normally accomplish the end result you are looking for as most webmasters just need to be informed.
If no action is taken within 48 hours, contact the site"s ISP/Host and ask them to enforce their AUP (Acceptable Use Policy). This information can usually be found by doing a WHOIS lookup on the domain name.
We expect publisher(s) to follow our reprint rules as stated in our Terms of Service. However, it is up to you to protect your interests and take action against those who abuse your copyright.
