What are the Editorial Guidelines and why should I read them?
As part of our commitment to making article writing an effective platform we've outlined guidelines to better serve our authors, users, and publishers. To be qualified to be published on our site you must apply and follow these guidelines. This is important for a few reasons.
- Your credibility as an expert author in your niche is important. As is our credibility in being your platform. The higher the quality the more positive the user experience is.
- Readers come back when you've earned their trust. This is done by providing value in every article. More value = Increased traffic back to your website or blog.
- It decreases the likelihood that your article will be rejected or your account removed. Original and informative articles create a positive experience.
It is important to read the Editorial Guidelines before submitting articles to our directory. Also review our Author Terms of Service. Be informed.

What this means to you is that we have placed a WYSIWYG editor in your member's interface. You can choose to use this tool in lieu of adding HTML.
You can turn it on or off depending on your skill level. If you prefer not to be concerned with the basics of HTML, this tool is for you.
Turning it ON looks like this:

Turning if OFF looks like this:

Having this feature on allows you to paste from an article from a Word document or paste from Plain text.
**Copy/Paste from Word can cause the inclusion of special characters that may break your article. Be sure to strip them from your document. It is best to copy/paste from a plain text editor to avoid this.
