Wild Birds - Nests and Nest Building

Wild birds are ingenious architects when it comes to building a temporary shelter for developing eggs and nestlings. Nests are built in a variety of shapes and sizes, utilizing an amazing assortment of materials. The design and finished product is a strategy meant to maximize survival of the young according to each species' natural history.

I would like to know how I can preserve a wild bird nest that had fallen out of a tree. It is so amazing how it was made that I would like anyone who has any knowledge of how to preserve it to email me. Thank you. Deborah.
