A common question, "What is the definition of freelance work" can be answered very simply - it is work offered on a part time basis to more than one company or individual. When times are hard, whether because of the general economic climate or because of a particular need (a holiday, for example) most people have a skill or ability that they can offer. Something as simple as dog walking can often produce good financial rewards. Naturally, most people can walk a dog but how many would think of offering that service on a freelance, paid-for basis?
