It is my thoughts that if you care about yourself more than your boyfriend than please follow the advice above. For example, Janette Vince states that we should not buy our boyfriend the video game he wants! Why? because then he might not spend every single second with you! Oh no the world is over because my boyfriend is happy!
I am sure that if you continue to think of yourself first around the holidays especially, then you will be fine , because you will probably be spending many more holidays ALONE.
