No there is never glass armour, Umbra is the name of the sword as well as the set of ebony armour that she drops. Took her out at level 4 on a second char, even with slider all the way down she was just as hard as when i did it legit lol.

Just a comment about the Lifting the Vale quest. I found the commander AFTER exploring everywhere else and having to kill all the undead soldiers. However, you don't need to kill the commander (he's pretty tough to kill anyway, at least for my at-the-time low-level character) -- if you found the note about the change in orders earlier (I think in the first cave of the quest), you are provided with the extra option to give that to him, and then he departs peacefully. I can't verify this since I killed all the other undead warriors, but I believe they disappear too once you do this.
