The Soda Tax Increase Could Be Helpful I Think
By Serrgio Wilson

Lately there has been much chatter on network television about the government enacting a tax on soda. Personally I don't really care because for one the government is bleeding so much red they need money. Also soda is a guilty pleasure of us Americans, we love it and we won't stop drinking a Coke or Pepsi anytime soon.

Subject: Less Spending, Less Taxes

I am afraid the true issue regarding taxes has been severely sidestepped in his article. Yes, we can tax this and that and then all of a sudden we realize that there is no new country for us to go populate to rebel against Taxation Without Representation. So since there isn't a new place, let's stop running and face this gargantuan monster.

The real issue is putting The United States of America, Inc. on a severe diet. Our top level board executives, uh I mean politicians, have grown bold in their pocket dipping, rationalizations for their personal agendas. We have been misdirected for years and now we are paying the price for their pleasures or greed, same thing...I don't even drink Pop or Sodas and I still say, let's stay the execution of more taxes and trim our fat.

In fact, there are a whole series of potential jobs available just trimming the US of A, Inc's fat deposits and reserves. A whole new industry right there! That alone may reemploy over half the unemployed in this country (uh, business) alone!

No Sir, keep your additional tax ideas quiet until you own your own country. It's time to slay the dragon and return to our original foundations. The high and mighty get to pay for their own excursions into other countries, pay their fair share (or over pay for a few centuries to catch up) of taxes and we all focus on a true rebuild of our once great country.
