Subject: Kindle vs. Nook There are two key points about the Nook that should require some serious thought on the part of the Kindle 2 buyer. The Nook features a removable battery and a memory card slot. A 16 GB card is said to expand its capacity to over 17,000 books. The Kindle 2 offers neither of these features. On the other hand, the Kindle 2 gives access to Wikipedia and other Internet sites if the site is Kindle-friendly. Kindle also features text to speech. The Nook doesn't offer these features at this time. Overall, I am currently leaning towards the Kindle 2. At the moment, I think the Nook will prove to be more novelty than long-term favorite.
