Subject: re: kettlebells Hi Jerry: Your results are not owing to the kettlebell. It is just a tool. It is your hard work, determination, and perserverence that gets you the good results you experienced, not the implement. There is little to no benefit to using a kettlebell when you have adjustable dumbbells available. Dumbbells can be used for virtually everything that you're now doing with k-bells. If you want to use kettlebells, it's fine with me; but I give advice to newbies and novices and I can't in good conscience recommend k-bells to them. I need to cut through the hype and provide facts. Subject: Kettlebells
I am wondering the comparison of Dumbbells and Kettlebells. How can you have such a different result. I am curious is it because you can't use them. They are not for everyone. Take a look at some of the best martial artist in the world the russians. A great example would be Fedor Emlianeko the best MMA artist alive today. Notice his power and speed. He uses Kettlebells. When I started using them 3 years ago my BJJ ground game improved 10 fold. Lets say that even if Kettlebells have no carry over. They do have a place in building confidence and overall coordination.
