Subject: Thanks Marciano I'm looking forward to reading the Harry Potter series for the first time. I've seen the movies, but from what I have heard the books are much better. Time to see what everyone is talking about! Comment provided August 21, 2009 at 11:59 am

Subject: But do teenage girls care?
I love this article! I have read Twilight after having my book compared to it several times. The clumsy cadence of the language is not something one notices at first, but now that you point it out, it is glaring. Both you and Stephen King were perfectly justified in your statements, but I think that Stephenie Meyer redeems herself because of her huge fanbase of teenage girls. She writes in their language, grammatically aberrant as it may be.
