Squeaking LOOK Keo Pedals
By Iain De Putney

I have owned a pair of LOOK Keo Sprint pedals for about one year. Like all LOOK pedals, they creak and squeak where the cleat contacts the pedal. The squeak comes from the tip of the cleat rubbing against the wall of the pedal lip. This gets very, very annoying. I have tried most of the usual "remedies" and have found what works for me.

Subject: Squeaking LOOK pedals

This has been a constant source of frustration for me for the last 4 1/2 years (when LOOK pedals were installed). It is bad news when you're out on a solo ride and have to listen to the constant squeaking, creaking, whatever you want to call it noise. I otherwise like the pedal system but have to believe that the team at LOOK can make this undesirable aspect of their systems go away for good.
