Subject: Re: Thank you You are very welcome Mischa. Conceptually there is no real difference between distance learning and e learning. The only difference is in the mode of delivery. Organisations like Wolsey Hall Oxford have been providing learning at a distance through the medium of the postal service since the 19th Century. Today we provide the same service through the medium of e learning. The technology may have changed but the aim is the same: to allow learners flexibility and choice in how they learn and provide alternatives to the more traditional forms of class-room based learning. I hope that helps Best Wishes Lee Wilcock Director of Learning Wolsey Hall Oxford www.wolseyhalloxford.org.uk Comment provided November 6, 2009 at 10:57 am

Subject: Thank You
Hi,
I was just reading this article and thought Oh My Gosh - teachers may not have the right qualifications!!!!! This is shocking and it made me think.
Thank you so much. At least I can now make informed decisions when I choose my next distance learning course or is it e-learning? Never really understood the difference.
