Satellite Radio - The Good and the Bad
By Dan Hahn

This is a brief article on my opinion of satellite radio since I purchased it almost 5 years ago. These opinions are my own, and I'm sure others will differ. You can always have your own opinion if just go out and buy a Sirius universal tuner, and hook it up to your car.

Subject: direct connect

Dan, I read your comments about the reception problems and advise you that problem will always exist when transmitting anything to your FM radio. Don't forget that the signals have to co-exist with other FM stations in the air. A better solution to this is to connect the sat radio directly to the car radio. I wired the "audio out" of my Sirius receiver to the "aux" input of my car radio. The sound quality is the best this way. If these are not available; you can use a cassette adapter. Hope this helps. Roy
