Subject: Question your program Ladies I wanted to warn you about some things regarding workouts you see written out online for "anyone". When Trainers tell you to: 1) JUMP -- can you stand on 1 leg for 30 seconds without losing balance?--> Not a good idea to jump without good stability 2)GO Fast-- Can you hold the hardest position of the movement for more than 5 seconds, in that case decrease speed or load (weight) 3)Sprint!--Can you run 1 mile faster than 8 minutes? Typically, your ability to sprint is inhibited by your weakest link. You need to increase strength and flexibility before increasing a speed that will injure you in the future. Just a note! I truly think that the round/circut training approach is the best! I did boot camp over the summer and it was the best....short and fast and saw results almost immediately.
