I would like to recommend that you read "The 360 Degree Leader" by John C. Maxwell. The truth is that the majority of us will never make it to the position of CEO however we all have the power to influence those around us. Most people seek the position of CEO to obtain the position of influence that a typical CEO would have. Unfortunately, there never are multiple openings for CEOs at most companies. We can still have the same type of influence the CEO has if we all learn to develop it.
