Subject: Petite Sirah
Hello Sarah,
I'm not quite sure where you received your information from, but you have published an incorrect article.
Petite Sirah comes from two (not several) grapes. Syrah - father, Peloursin - mother.
The Durif grape is Petite Sirah, and Petite Sirah is the Durif grape. They are one in the same. Dr. Francois Durif of France created the species and so it was named the Durif grape.
What do the English have to do with Petite Sirah? Nothing.
