Dropshipping is a business model that is VERY dangerous. For one thing you are giving your hard earned customer list to a third party (the distributor or manufacturer), both that have larger customers than you - their loyalty is with them, not necessarily you.
Secondly, if you are dropping pet supplies and I am not, the customer gets product from us, brochures, coupons and free product and they only get the product they ordered from the dropshipper, who is going to feel ripped off. Online especially, you can give the impression of ripping anyone off or not creating value.
You heard it here, it is a bad business model.
