Pangani, Heaven on a Deserted Beach - Tanzania On the way back we stooped in the mouth of the river and spent a pleasant hour exploring the ancient Arab town of Pangani. A recent visit to the region of Pangani, staying at Emayani Beach Resort, was very much a small slice of heaven. The Indian Ocean offered beautiful dawns, sights of African fisherman, quiet, amazing food and wonderful people.
