Great article! Just had this happen to me. in my 2004 Ford Explorer. Dealership told me it's a rare problem that what hard to diagnose. tried to charge me $188.00 for tracking down problem. I used this article as a tool, and they removed that fee. That did tell me it would be $1,231.00 to repair it!
