Subject: Re-question Yes you can paint murals on Venetian plaster, you may use stencils too. A smooth polished plaster such as Classico or Carrara Marmorino works best. The finish is applied in the traditional way with the mural painted or the stencil applied before the finish is waxed or sealed in any way. Once it is completed and it is totally dry it may be sealed. The painter needs to be sure that they make no mistakes that cannot be rectified as once started there's no going back.
