I agree Mike. Motivation reminds me of toys that you crank. Pick it up and crank the nob in the back of the toy, which would be your motivation and then let it go until the run out of power or they hit a wall. They you pick it up again to crank them up another time.

Motivation works if it is followed with great directions and plans to make sure the person doesn't hit that wall. That is where most MLMs miss the boat. I was even told by my sponsors when I was building my MLM. Motivate them and move on to the next one, eventually, someone will get it right.

I am still involved with a few MLM businesses, but don't need them anymore, so I build it differently. It is amazing what you can accomplish when you actually take your time to help others properly rather than motivate and then move on. Great article.

Hi Mike

Interesting article - I can certainly identify with the immediate feeling of being able to "conquer the world" after listening to an inspirational speaker.

Then, as you say, reality and life get in the way and your confidence plummets.

I very much agree about the importance of the marketing system. Especially when it is simple to operate - too many opportunities require you to enter a huge learning curve before you can start working them.

Excellent Article Mike. People seem to forget that you need to work on motivation on a daily basis.

I also agree on the importance of a marketing system. I also use the system that you are talking about and all I can say is that it is top of the line all the way.
