Misquoting Jesus - Religious Book Review Most people don't realize that the Holy Bible has originated from individual books that were written by men. Subject: Truth Let's start with the truth first, what is truth, to me truth is something that can be proven in some way and with satisfactory evidence that can easily be understood without contradictions. That's just my opinion though. Truth is trust is two different words to me, but I see your point and it's a good one. I really don't know for a fact what the truth actually is, especially when you're referring to religions like Christianity. It's been manipulated and twisted for centuries. I don't think that this is the kind of truth that you're talking about, so I will go to your last question, who do I trust man or God? If you're referring to God as the possible creator of the universe or even our own planet, I would trust both God and man as long as they are trying to be as sincere and reasonable as possible, at that point in their lives.
