Masturbation - A Christian's Perspective A personal search through the Bible for a single reading on my topic-masturbation; I must say was a bit disappointing since I found none to my surprise. To me, I think the Bible's silence on the topic is a bit odd since it goes a long way to speak plainly on other sexual matters such as fornication, adultery and even sex with animals. bode writes:Subject: The Bible is not silent The Bible is not silent on masturbation. It clearly advocates fleeing from appearance of evil in 1Thess 5:22. Also read Rev 21:27 and Galatians 5:19-21. I do not think the Bible needs to be more graphic...the Holy Spirit ministers through the conscience as well.
