Subject: Marijuana.

I'm sorry sir but your post was one of the most uneducated arguments against marijuana legalization that I have ever read. The only reason marijuana is considered a gateway drug is because it's prohibited. The dealers who sell marijuana are therefore more likely to sell other drugs and may introduce people to the other drugs. Think about it the dealer who's selling someone some marijuana asks them if they want to try something stronger, also more expensive so more profit for them. If it were legalized and regulated this problem would not occur. There have been no studies that showed that people who use marijuana are more likely to use other, harder drugs. The only study conducted that shows that marijuana kills brain cells was done on monkeys who were put on a gas mask for 5 minutes every 2 days that contained about the amount of 60 joints worth of marijuana, with no oxygen. You could only deprive them of oxygen, taking out othe marijuana factor entirely and see the same results. It is a well known fact that marijuana does not kill brain cells, in fact recent studies have even suggested that brain growth may be stimulated by occasional marijuana use. The myth that it kills brain cells was originally started because black people were using marijuana in the midst of the "Reefer Madness" time in history. While under the influence of marijuana these black people started to think, and other people started to think and the government couldn't have black people thinking they were the same as white people so they claimed that marijuana made them dangerous and stupid. So sir next time you decide to post your opinion, check the facts.
