Magic Jack Internet Phone Review Magic Jack is a newcomer to the VOIP (voip over internet protocol) family of internet phoning. It's quick to install, easy to use and the price can't be beat for making unlimited local and long distance calls in the United States and Canada. But is Magic Jack too good to be true? Subject: I really like the magic jack!!! I ordered my magic jack on Wednesday and received it on Saturday. It took all of 3 minutes to hook up and I know very little about computers.... very easy installation. I love it!!! I was able to dial out immediately - both locally and long distance. The sound is amazing and I am telling my friends about it! In my area, the 911 feature was included and is working. I had my land line removed a few months back and felt this was worth the money to try. I purchased one year and am signing on for another 5 year plan they are offering. I can't say enough good things about this product!!! Buy it - try it - what do you have to lose. Comment provided October 26, 2008 at 11:18 pm

Subject: magic jack The service is certainly no replacement for a landline, but a perfect solution for somebody who cannot afford a landline( anymore) and has a cell phone. Even better as a second business line. I got the device a couple of weeks ago and it is definitely worth the money! I reduced my land line to bare bone and I consider to drop it entirely over time. I had a few problems with the MJ voicemail in the beginning, but it works fine now. I hope they stay in business. Comment provided December 19, 2008 at 7:27 pm

Subject: Questionable Business Ethics Here's my experience, I tried to purchase the Magic Jack and the transaction was declined - the reason that Magic Jack system gave was "DECLINE The 3 or 4 digit Card Security Code does not match" Exact Quote for those of you that try to tell others that people are here to complain without cause - no one has the time to waste. To add insult to injury, Magic Jack has an agreement with certain credit card companies to make a small transaction to verify the credit card. Even though the transaction was declined supposedly for the 3-digit code, Magic Jack charges the card each time that you (the customer) tries to correct the 3-digit code. This happened to me because I thought that I had been entering the wrong information so I tried several times and each time there was a charge on the credit card. Subject: Magic Jack works for me
I have had the Magic Jack in operation for about three months now. I was surprised how easy it was to set up and the phone voice quality is just as good or better than the regular land line we used to have. There has been no problems so far. The price is certainly unbelievable too. I hope they continue this Magic Jack company for a long time. Thanks..
