Subject: An OK show
I was excited when I first heard about the Sword of Truth becoming a new TV series and I really looked forward to it. But I'm sorry to say that I'm disappointed overall. Did the producers even read the first book? The show randomly pulls stuff from the later novels in the series; such as Jennson and the Sisters of Light.
I'm not disappointed because the show was different than the book, that is to be expected. I'm disappointed because they changes they made changed the some of the core of the story (i.e. how Darken Rahl died) and how Richard never becomes immune to Kahlan's power at the end of the season.
I'm still going to watch the second season though, out of curiosity.
