Great article. Most people don't realize that they have to pay use tax. Usually you only see corporations submitting use tax returns, because not only is the extra form complicated for some with simple returns that don't entirely understand the tax law, but they also simply don't know their responsibilities in these situations. Almost everyone knows what a sales tax is, but 99% of the people in this country (without regard to intelligence in other areas) could not tell you what a use tax actually is. Most have never even heard the term.
