Is Health Care Better in the US Than in Canada?
By Daveda Gruber

Is health care better in the US than in Canada? For the consumer in Canada that can afford a little more than government-run health care, yes. Health insurance is at too high a cost. Normal Americans can no longer afford it. I am a prime example of the health care system in this country.

Subject: Health Care Comparison

This is a very interesting article. I like the way the comparison is made. One must live the experience to tell others about it. Great job! Joseph

Some people shoot from the hip without knowledge. It's great to speak from experience. Joseph

Living in Canada for many years, as I was born there, gives me first hand insight. Now that I live in the USA I have had experiences with the present system. I think it can be improved. Daveda

I agree with you Daveda, the health care system is way to high and it needs a change. Thanks for sharing the comparison,a well written article. Erich

I do not know the difference between Canada and USA but do know the price for it is extravagant! I do not know how seniors on fixed incomes can afford it. The cost of living is horridswith prices of everything always going up and up.. I pray that something is done soon to help the Health Care issues for all. God bless

As long as they do not make it like Canada and the UK. Then you will see taxes go up even further. I still have money invested in Canada and some of it I have to wait to get it out. The government takes money from my accounts to pay a non-resident tax. Taxes are so high for 'free health-care.'
