Subject: Stopping Breast Feeding Thank you so much for your useful information I couldn't find any info on stopping breast feeding and was getting really sore, lumpy breast that I thought would turn into an infection so I am glad this is normal and how to deal with it. Baby is dealing with the change no problems no I just need to get my boobs back. Thanks Kylie (New Zealand) Comment provided February 12, 2009 at 3:55 pm

Subject: Good for us (mom´s!) Leah, it is really hard to find any informations about weaning our babies without causing them any traumas...It´s good to see a mother helping us all, by giving us some light upon this question...after all, as you have said on your article, is seems that we are suppose to provide our children all of aour lives, and forget about being people! Even my husband thinks that I should keep breastfeeding our younger daughter until the day the she decides by herself that she doesn´t want to anymore... I dont´t know what he is thinking, but maybe for him a mother who doesn´t breastfeed her baby doesn´t love him/her... My daughter is 25 months old, and she takes the breast all night long. Thanks for your help!:) Vania - Santa Catarina - Brazil Comment provided February 18, 2009 at 9:30 am

Subject: thank you!! Thank you for this article with helpful REAL information from someone who has gone through this! It's frustrating how much info is out there on how evil a person and bad a mother you are if you stop breastfeeding. (It's gotta happen at some point, right?) I feel much better knowing how to pump to diminish milk supply and how long it will take until the engorgement goes away. Thank you!!! Comment provided October 30, 2009 at 3:57 pm
