Whatever the numbers above that you choose to use, you will run a second string from the corner stake or mark and extend it directly over the point where the second number and third number intersect. You will have a square project.

I am sorry that you don't understand. You don't need a square starting point, you only need a straight line. If you follow the steps I've laid out, you will have your square starting point. Begin with a straight line, then follow step by step. Perhaps, if you ask a question, I'll be able to help you understand.
