How to Get Rid of Maggots
By Emma Drosy

Before you can get rid of maggot you must first know what they look like. Maggots are the larvae of flies. They only appear if a fly is able to lay its eggs they appear 2-5 days after a fly has laid its eggs. The fly will lay its eggs after being drawn to the smell of rotten flesh. Maggots are 3/8 to 3/4 inches long they are soft, worm-like, pale-colored maggots.

There is a new product out called Binfresh, you lay a wipe on top on your rubbish bags and it gets rid of flies and maggots, I dont know if you could use these in the house?

Subject: Maggots in the house

I went home today after only being away for the night to find that i had maggots in the kitchen, the bathroom, under the fridge, and the stove. To my surprise i even found them in my bedroom and my sons bedroom. I know what the are and have seen them before but to my knowledge i didn't think they would end up in a bedroom. I have made sure there is nothing on the floors like wet towels, food wrappers or anything they can feed off of. I found the source of the problem under my kitchen sink in a garbage can..now my question is how do i get rid of them??

I have cleaned everything out from underneath and sprayed bleach everywhere, but as soon as I did that they can from every angle, crack, and crevice. What is my next step??

Subject: Woke up with Maggots! (Not just my husband)

This morning I woke up and went into the kitchen to make coffee. To my surprise I found maggots all over the floor and in the carpet. I think it's from the ground beef I threw away (unopened) which my husband forgot to take out.

I ended up having to squish them one by one the best I could and then mop and shampoo my carpets. I'm still finding them! I'm allergic to bleach or else I would have soaked the whole house in it! I think I got it all but I'm still totally disgusted and I dont know what to do! HELP!
