The dance uses the popular 4/4 time, which is typical of most Latin dances. The movement begins on beat 2. On the fourth beat, the dancers step side and close to each other.

The article is very clear regarding cha cha steps and beats of the music. For example, it talks about the 2nd beat (which is not necessary what people do on the dance floor) is the beginning beat. However, words and lines needs more support from the music. We need a sample or more training material to understand and for practice. Well written and clear doc, but needs more link to samples
