Subject: Mis-Understanding Hospice Right on the money ! it is so true that we all equate the word Hospice with Death. Having experienced first hand the wonderful care they provide for our loved ones , there is need to banish the myth. The genuine understanding, support, and kindness of Hospice staff compares to none other. It is very comforting to have a group of people in your corner ready and waiting to provide what ever support you OR your loved one may need. Comment provided October 26, 2009 at 2:02 pm

Awsome article. Thank you for debunking the myth that Hospice must be a place. The hospice concept of care is a true definition of what hospice is and does. Why do people wait until the end of life to bring in hospice care. After the patient has suffered without resources, and with pain. Thanks for trying to get the word out.
