Subject: Hinduism does have references to the Big Bang
The Hindus believe that the Big Bang is the great event where the space less time less entity ( Nirguna Brahmam - Shiva or Rudra) united with another entity which has space and time ( Guna Brahmam Durga). The Nirguna Brahman wanted to take a look at itself and it combined with the Guna Bramam and exploded with a huge magnitude, hence began time and space. The heat that was generated at the moment of the big bang explosion is what Hindu's call the Rudram.
