Yes... thank you for sharing. I would be very upset if that has happened to me. I think you handled yourself well in the given situation. I hope that they have done a satisfactory job of this renovation. I personally would not recommend this contractor to anyone.. Sincerely Christina

Hello Daveda, I know what you mean about those contractors. Make them sign on the dotted lines. Great article! Joseph

I will not recommend him. When he was finished I hired to plumber on his own to do other things. Daveda

Joseph not only did I have him sign but I took control and stayed level headed when things were not going as promised. Thank you for your insightful comment. Daveda

Amen to that. They should keep there word. There was a day when a man's word was his bond now you don't know what to believe. Stand your ground. You have done nothing wrong.

I know what you mean trusting a contractor..I just had an experience with plumber with a broken drain pipe, called before 8am,they came at 4;30 pm, now it was to late to start, but he gave me an estimate or $2.175 with out even know what was wrong because he would have to dig up and if I want him to start the next day I have to sign the estimate, I had no choice. If I would have been a few years younger I would have done it myself. The material cost was less then $100 Dollars. Great article Daveda..thanks for sharing it. Erich
