Going Back to Your Roots - Celebrating Grandparents' Day

In the Philippines, Filipinos have great respect with their elders. But a very special day is dedicated to them every first Sunday of September - the Grandparents' Day. This article cites a brief history of Grandparents' Day and what tokens we can give them to show our love and appreciation.

Subject: Grandparents

Sadly, most times, grandparents are simply not at the top of the list for celebrations in the USA. Most are often ignored, neglected, and simply left alone. I guess the kids have other things that are more important, in their opinion, and the grandparents day, is simply another day most times.
