Old documents are important but the use of computer technology and the things you can find using it is very illuminating also. I have found identifications jotted down on pictures that have faded through the years that could be read by scanning and enlarging greatly. Ink has become readable when contrasts have been played with. It is so exciting to find a name and a face together to help identify.
