GMAC Loan Modification Help Foreclosures can be very tiring mentally. There are three reasons for it: First, no homeowner wishes to partake of a home as it has a lot of emotional value attached. Second, it's an investment, an asset and is bound to give a premium value in future. Third, it brings you down in the immediate society and hence people's eye towards you changes. Subject: GMAC got Bailout, but not willing to help family with handicapped child death and job loss!
GMAC got bailed out by the government but they refuse to bail me out. My husband and i have been trying to get GMAC to do a Modification Loan with us for well over two months but they are unwilling. They have now put my home in foreclosure and given a sale date of November 5. I have a great deal of equity in my home I can't afford to lose. If only GMAC would put the late payments on the back of the loan and give us a lower interest rate. we would be able to handle it. We are the parents of an autistic child. During the past year, we have lost jobs, had a death in the family and our son has had problems because of the death of his grandmother. I have contacted GMAC eight times, all to no avail. Now I have to work through a Modification company and pray that the foreclosure is stopped before the foreclosure date on Nov 5. I can't believe a company who plead for money from the US tax payers is now so hard hearted themselves. Will someone please help, I don't want to lose my home.
