Free Homemade Dog Food Recipes The current crisis in our pet food supply has many of us looking for homemade dog food recipes for our beloved pets. I have been cooking for our dog for many years and find that he likes mostly the same foods that we do. Each animal has his own preferences, just like we do. For instance, our Oscar will not eat tomatoes, but Bonnie loves them. Use these recipes as a starting place for homemade dog food recipes. Then, as you discover your pets preferences you can customize them more. One caution: you should not serve onion or chocolate to dogs as they contain substances that can be toxic to dogs. Subject: corn and wheat These recipes are great. If there is any way you can sub ingredients for the wheat flour/germ and corn oil, I'd suggest adding those, as most dogs are allergic to corn and wheat (around 80% to corn, 90% to wheat) Comment provided July 20, 2007 at 12:32 am

Subject: Homemade Dog biscuits My husband make our 2 Labs homemade dog treats. He colored them red and green for Christmas. We are giving some to friends with dogs. Our dogs love them and I know what is in them. Comment provided December 16, 2007 at 4:39 pm
