I am not a big fan of fish in the microwave at all, and I find it hard to imagine that these recipes will make the fish taste good.

I disagree, as a New Zealander we're used to throwing a lot of shrimp on the barby... but I must admit, using the microwave saves my fingers from smelling of fish.
