Eliminate Credit Card Debt As Your Personal Stimulus Package

Everyday, we hear the news of the debated economic stimulus package. We sit back and wonder how this will directly help us. Each of us has a unique perspective on the stimulus, and we all have different needs for where, when, and how the stimulus may or may not personally help.

Subject: Credit Card Debt In Stimulus Package

The most important focus of the stimulus package should be to help the 40+ million Americans with unsecured credit card debt. Because of recent changes to bankruptcy laws, they are offered no relief to this debt. Often they pay over 20% on interest rates. This is the core problem with corporate lending habits. We should start by correcting this so that people can only borrow what they can afford to pay back.
