Subject: crohns food
I have had crohns disease for 20 years, so I feel as though when I read your page that it is so wrong. 1. berries.. they are no good the seeds are hard to digest, if we digest them at all 2. fats go right through the most of us and are not encouraged and the fats you listed contained..seeds, and nuts, like berries are hard to digest if we can at all 3. Whole grains.. this one is just horrible crohns patients espicially when in flare ups should avoid whole grains unlike most people trying to get as much fibre as possible crohns patients should avoid it 4.the vegetables that you list we have a had time digesting, like the skin on tomatoes or the rough outside of a cucumber. 5. finally the only answer I agree with, herbal tea green tea help in the digestion process.
