I am a kid and when I read this article I was offended. Very, very offended. When I saw this, I told my dad then posted this. I am still very angry, upset and irritated that you wrote that! I will never forget this Carolyn Cordon, never ever.

Jasmin darling, I am sorry that my little piece of humour upset you. Why don't you write a funny piece about why kids are better than dogs in reply? My sixteen year old son thinks it's funny, and it was certainly meant to be a piece of humour. I love my dogs, but I love my son a billion times more.

Kids Are Better Than Dogs:

by Jasmin

1. Kids can grow up to be very intelligent and smart - like me!. 2. If you bring up your kids correctly they will be very polite and kind! 3. Your kids can tell you new stuff they learn - like acrostic poems and alliterations!

OK, that's mine done!

Jasmin, your three reasons are fantastic. My dogs will never understand acrostic poetry and don't know what alliteration is. My son has written poetry, lots of children I know have written poetry. I don't think any dog, no matter how smart, will ever write a poem.

It's up to us humans, adults and children, to do the poetry, the closest to poetry dogs can ever get is to the the subject of a poem. Or to chew up a book of poems. Hahaha.

I am glad we are having this discussion Jasmin.

1. If your dog doesn't work out OK you can de-sex it and sell it as a pet

2. Dogs don't hassle you to tidy your room or eat peas

3. If your dog annoys you, you can shut it in its kennel for the day

4. Your dog is always ready to play with you

5. If your dog is too bossy you can take it to doggy training classes

6. Dogs don't snap at you very often

7. You don't have to get your dog breaskfast in bed on Mothers Day

8. Dogs don't mind what you wear

9. Dogs don't embarrass you by hugging you in front of your friends

10. Dogs don't care what your haircut looks like

11. If your dog gets pregnant you don't have to give up half your bedroom.
