Dog Bladder Stones - Causes, Treatment, and Prevention

Dog bladder stones are very painful and, if left untreated, could be even fatal. Every year, a large number of dogs get affected by bladder stones and other related urinary problems. The good news is that this problem, if diagnosed at the right time, can be easily treated. Most importantly, it may be possible to prevent future problems as well. Let us take a detailed look.

It is very irresponsible of you to make the statement in this article that herbs are safe because they are natural products. Herbs and other "natural" treatments can also have side effects. As an editor of a dog publication, you should know that and not spread false information.

Lindsey - any product given to your dog or cat should be discussed with a veterinarian first. In terms of those that promote bladder health, a reputable manufacturer combined with products that have a history of supporting urinary health, should not, but could result in side effects. That said, every dog is different and should be observed when there is a change in diet.
