Do You Hate Housework As I Do?
By Linda Corby

Why should housework be a woman's job? These days when both men and women go out and do a full days work do you think it is right that the housework is still thought of as a woman's job, and why do men think they are entitled to come home and put their feet up, and expect their other halves to do everything else for them?

Subject: Housework

Hello Linda,

Nice to read your post. I am a man and would like to say that men are also changing. As I love my wife, I love to do housework for her. Men are physically stronger so they should do all labour-oriented housework like vacuumming, mopping, scrubbing floors, bathroom and kitchen upkeep, laundry-ironing. If woman is cooking men should do all dishes, clean table and kitchen afterwords. Though housework is tiring, but I love to do it for my wife...

Linda, thank you for the feedback. I think, housework (especially cleaning) is more suitable for men than women. Society needs to change the mindset, it should be man’s primary responsibility to keep the house clean and organised.
