Cures for the Dog Shedding Blues

Dog shedding is part of dog ownership. While you can't exactly cure dog shedding, there are some steps you can take to minimize excessive dog shedding.

I have a lab-pit mix. LOTS of hair shed in the spring/early summer. I have found the best tool to groom Ginger is actually a curry comb. Yes the kind you use on horses. It forms to the palm of your hand, and Ginger LOVES being brushed with it. For short haired dogs it's a must have grooming tool
