Computer Freeze Ups - The Top 3 Things That Cause Them When a computer freezes up there is nothing left for you to do except use the on-off switch to turn it off. This is a procedure Windows doesn't like. However, there is nothing else to do; no OK button to click, no functioning start button, not even a task manager. The best thing that can be done about freeze ups is avoid them altogether. How to do this very thing is what is discussed in this article. [VIEW ARTICLE]Comments RSS Feed For This Article: |

Subject: freezes and BSOD's
Hello!
I am experiencing quite a few freezes and BSOD's lately and have gone through my system with a very fine comb. Have cleaned out the cobwebs, checked temperature, spyware etc. Nothing works! Have also used registry cleaners, optimization tools (Advanced Systemcare/Iobit) but still no luck. So it could be a driver related problem. So I downloaded DriverCure from Paretologic. A few seconds into the scan everything froze up solid. Try again: Complete crash! The freezes often happen when grabbing an image in order to make it smaller or larger to make it fit a page or when working with Windows Live Mail or when watching a live stream Video (never with YouTube!). I've then tried Driver Scanner from Uniblue but the scan just skipped a few sections (?) and ended up with 1 out dated driver (mouse). I've been in contact with Uniblue Support and they concluded it was conflicting software. No matter what: How can I perform a driver scan when my system freezes avery time. Please advice....
Thak you
