Subject: Vernada Decking

As a consultant to a General Contractor, building 30-40 decks per year, I review products. The contractor used Veranda Decking (requested by customer as it was the lowest price). This material is truly inferior. Each ft by ft of this material changes. Normal screws will work sometimes, composite specific screws rarely work, even ring shank nails will work in one area, and then will not work 2 ft down the board. The installation cost of this material far offsets the material costs. The contractor will never install this product again.
