Communicating Effectively

Communication is changing in today's society. Almost everyone uses e-mail, or texting, to talk to others. Letter writing is almost unheard of. Due to the popularity of technology, people are not using personal communication skills, the way they once did. If one needs to relay a message to a co-worker, they will simply send an email to that person, even if they are in the next cubicle. People will text, as opposed to calling. Understandably, the art of face-to-face communication is becoming lost.

Subject: Confidence

I have been trying a lot recently to work on my confidence. More often than not, I second guess what I'm going to say and then I end up stumbling over my words or mumbling. Then it turns into a self- fulfilling prophecy, because I don't communicate effectively!
